Dangerously tasty :) best cinnamon rolls ever

Last week I got their last offerings of apple pie. OMG was it delicious and the crust was the best ever. I ordered a cherry pie since that was the last left for the season until September. It was still warm when I picked it up today, and again the crust was perfect, as well as the lattice top crust! Oh yummy, am in heaven again. Half went to our great neighbors as well.

A bit out of fashion but still good bakery. What I liked was a wide range of quick food options plus a real bakery, that there was ample sitting, they had all kinds of hot beverages and you could buy bread and have it sliced. What I didn't like was that the place was a bit chaotic, there was a mix of somewhat nicely maintained front area and things quickly looked like you are dining in their storage and work space. Hard to locate tableware. It must have been a stylish place some decades ago but not now. That said, it's still a much better place for deserts and coffee than a chain specially if the weather is nice and you can sit outside.

Excellent range of hot and cold sandwiches. Beautifully decorated full size and mini cakes. Their pastries have that wonderful home made look and taste about them. They have the best coconut macaroons I have ever tasted. Everything is baked on the premises. I love the retro feel to the place. The only reason it lost a star was because it was difficult to find seating for a person in a wheelchair. The staff are lovely and look after you. Love those free cookies I get sometimes!!!

I love their crab sandwich and peanut butter cookies. They were very busy today. I left for a lesser favored option.

For years, this cozy little spot is like a comfort zone, wonderful breads and pastries make this a must! Sandwiches are large with lots of choices with an excellent phone in ordering service! Breakfast, lunch or a quick light dinner, or just drop by to get a cake or favorite pastry!Really good stuff!!!!

I used to really love this place because the food is awesome, but it is very expensive. There is never a clean place to sit and it's always packed. Lots of people bring their pets to the outdoor seating area.

The first thing that hits you is the euphoric smell of the baked goods, then you are pleasantly greeted by the excellent staff and take your order. You sit and notice the tables, floor, glass, and everything else is clean and well maintained. When my friend and I picked up it orders, it's was the best BBQ sandwich I've ever had made from bread made in-house. This place is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Give this place a shot, you will not be disappointed

Love the crab sandwich, will go out of my way to get one. It is artificial crab but still yummy. Of course the cakes and cookies are great.

Pretty much any baked good you get here is guaranteed to be amazing.

Enjoyed a hot chocolate there on a cold New Year's Day morning. Great that the joint was open. The cheese danish was OK, and didn't have the soft croissant texture I prefer.On a whim got the chicken caesar salad sandwich, which is just what you'd expect - chicken, lettuce and caesar salad dressing. Pretty good eats before my ride up Mt. Diablo.

Cute place to have a chat. We started to come here regularly to talk and it just became a habit. My friend would get tea. The kids would raid the paisteries. We were always there right around closing so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Clean and cute. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place.

Only three start bcuz service was exceptional.The quality of the cake was subpar for a specialty bakeshop. In blind taste test, You wouldnt be able to tell the difference between this place and safeway. The cake was extremely overwhelming after a couple bites. Goodthing i bought a 4 inch.

Terrible service! When i asked the lady what she recommended she rolled her eyes and just started reading stuff off the menu!! I will say that their carrot cake is lovely!

A good local traditional bakery. Everything i have tried here has been good. I took off one star as I feel the prices are a little high.

Good if you like bread and overly sweet things. I often come for the day old bread to make bread pudding as store bought bread isn't as successful or consistent. The staff is friendly and will tell you what is in each of the bags if needed.

Wide selection of pastries. Muffins are meh. Croissants aren't much to look at but taste great. Workers are nice.

Excellent cookies and sandwiches. Had French dip.. I'll be back for more

Great shop for a very good sandwich. Everything is made to order and extremely fresh. The baked goods are also the best. The chocolate caramel cake I picked up for my daughter’s birthday was perfect.

Sweet Affair bakery has so many wonderfully delicious choices. Their cake selection is phenomenal both is kind and sizes are spot on. The bread which is made fresh daily is to die for, love the homemade cinnamon bread, it makes the best french toast. What one of my favorites are the sandwiches. The chicken salad is UFB!!! Recommend you call ahead. All the sandwiches are on the house made breads and are worth every bite of decadency. And, don't forget to get a cookie.

All their baked goods are delicious, and their sandwiches are so good that I see them as comfort food. :)

I like the sandwiches the best. The desserts are good too, when I want to splurge.. ..The employees are helpful and friendly.

Affordable hearty breakfasts (egg sandwiches) and lunches (salads, soups, and sandwiches). The cafes are best known for the bakery. The location across from Target is great for a quiet business lunch or coffee date. The location across from Heather Farms is a nice place to meet friends. With indoor / outdoor seating, both locations are dog-friendly.

Great scones, sandwiches and salads. Reminds me of my home town sandwich shop where I grew up with quaint old antique signs, decor and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back!

The sandwiches and baked goods here are as good as can be found anywhere. Be sure, however, to check your order if you called it in. We ordered cream puffs today and they gave us eclairs instead 😞 Also I've asked for no avocado on my sandwich because of an allergy to them and have had to have it remade 1/2 of the time because the avocado has been included.

Very nice spot with a good selection of food to choose from.It is pretty big and the theme is very cool. Staff have always been nice and service has also been pretty good.

You won't find a better earned reputation for a bakery/cafe in the entire bay area...if the cream puffs, scones, eclairs and cookies aren't world famous already, start telling your friends abroad because it should be...simple but perfect...and more than satisfying sizes. Treat yourself to plenty or have to share with a friend!Dont forget about this place when ordering your next cake for any occasion either!Now for the sandwiches and salads. Same story! All the bread is made fresh and is perfected. Will be plenty for a nom monster boy like me, or half for now half for later portion eater like someone with discipline 😂Do yourself this favor...and give yourself plenty of time to decide, there's options for every tastebud!

When entering in the door of the Sweet Affair Bakery you immediately see a case full of delicious looking cakes and treats. We stopped by after camping on nearby Mt Diablo and ordered breakfast sandwiches. Unfortunately, they were not very good. For instance, the bell pepper was pretty dried out and obviously cut a long time ago. The avocado was similarly lacking and the croissant and sourdough rolls were surprisingly dull.The surface of table we used was very sticky as well.I would like to visit again to try the sweet items.

A really awesome bakery! Great place for a quick bite for lunch. Their sandwiches are wholesome and huge! I had the hot pastrami sandwich and it was delicious! My wife got a veggie sandwich and it was also delicious! They bake the bread themselves. They also have an assortment of cookies and cakes. You can also get cakes made to order here. Absolutely fantastic local bakery that we love to patronize!

Smells delightful when you walk in the door and the dessert counter is amazing. We had yummy sandwiches followed by sweet treats.

A local favorite tucked away in suburb strip mall far from hwy. The chocolate delight puff will melt your lover's heart and cheesecake not too sweet which is my personal preference. Independent shop Luke this make sweet with live and soul so come taste it!

They have delicious crab salad sandwiches! The bakery options are a sweet tooths heaven! The cookies and cakes are to die for! The aesthetics are old timey adorable amd such a cute place to have a date or even a mini photo shoot. I would call to see if a mini photo shoot is okay, don't be THAT person.
